Motivated by current pop culture, this fashionable visitor to the LA Museum of Contemporary Art talks on the phone and sips a coffee while Matisse watches from the background. 30×48 canvas.

Rosie came to us as a very sad and weak little lamb. We turned her over to Ana’s parents and here she is – beautiful, strong and happy seven years later! Painting is a collaboration between Anastasia Nelson and myself.

Latest painting a collaboration with Anastasia Nelson, “Tehama Cowgirl” was inspired by a local cow and the Dairyville Orchard Festival. Collaborative work is always interesting. In this case we passed both the original drawing and the painting back’n’forth til we were satisified with the final piece. This is one of a suite of six pieces.
